Applied Pneumatics acquired the going concern of Everlee Engineering in January 1997. The previous owner of the company returned to the United Kingdom where he took up the position of International Sales Manager with NEM Power Systems for whom Everlee Engineering are the agents in Sub-Sahara Africa. After numerous acquisitions, NEM Power Systems is now arguably the largest supplier of Dampers and Compensators in the world, and whose expertise is available to Everlee Engineering.

Because most dampers need to be fitted with an actuator of sorts, as well as the close business relationship that had developed over the years between the two parties, Applied Pneumatics was seen as the natural choice to continue servicing the local markets. Everlee Engineering now operates as a division of Applied Pneumatics with the design, engineering and project management being carried out by Mr. Andre Nell.
