Design
and Profiles
Everlee Engineering Expansion Joints can be
designed to accommodate Temperatures from - 50°C to in excess of 1000°C. Each expansion
joint is designed to the specification given by the client and tailor made to suit the
application.
Although Everlee can design a custom made
Expansion Joint to suit client applications most Expansion Joints are manufactured from
two different profiles.
1) Belt Type: This profile
is mounted parallel to the plane of the duct and is normally furnished with angle, channel
or fitted directly onto the duct.
2) Integrally Flanged Type: This Profile incorporates its own flanges,
which are perpendicular to the plane of the duct and normally is furnished with loose
backing flanges and loose flow plates.
